True North was founded by Evandro Filgueiras — a builder who has spent his career on job sites, not behind a desk. He came to South Florida in 2012 after studying civil engineering in Brazil, and learned construction from the ground up: first with his own hands, then managing and estimating projects of steadily increasing size and complexity.
Over more than a decade he helped build and lead successful construction companies, developing a builder's eye for detail and a manager's discipline for budgets and schedules. In 2024 he earned his Florida general contractor's license and founded True North — a company built on that hard-won experience, and on one promise: your project, run personally and precisely, with no surprises.
